Interstellar Discos was founded by Chris Tubbs (who often uses the stage name Penman).
He started his obession with the entertainment industry from an early age spending most of his school years doing extra-curricular activities such as organising school discos, concerts and charity events along with playing as part of a band.
When leaving school, he went to work for Bourne Leisure as an entertainer rapidly being promoted to Assistant Entertainments Manager.  Here he worked on Haven and British Holiday sites organising fun days, evening events, doing general compering and running successful discos.
The most frustrating thing about working on these sites were that the disco part of the evening only lasted about 45minutes before the venue closed meaning Chris having to tell a packed dancefloor that it was time to finish!
With Interstellar, this is the catalyst to be able to hold the party fever for a whole evening and that is exactly what happens at them.  But, even now, he still has to clear the dancefloor when in full flow due to time restrictions at certain venues but, at least, there's the assurance that everyone at the party had a fantastic time!!!
More recently, due to demand, the business has been extended to include a highly successful Karaoke service with a large amount of songs to choose from ranging from old time standards to latest chart hits.
